I guess, better 18 months into ownership, than never. I’ve been using this monitor since day 1 and had no idea this utility existed. And since the LG monitors are Apple endorsed and sold by Apple, Apple should’ve knocked some sense into LG (read: contractual requirement), to notify consumers of the firmware update. Thie utility shouldn’t be in Entertainment category of App Store. So the only thing this does is update the firmware of the monitor. Works in this Mac Pro - Vista boot option, interfacing with monitor to change contrast etc., etc. Got a new monitor - LG Flatron W2753V with CD install that provides forteManager (India) application.
